Gigi Lotti -- Mixed Media Artist

Gigi Lotti is a native San Franciscan who has enjoyed the City's many cultures. Her own Latin heritage and her affinity for Chinese calligraphy and brush paintings provide the energy, the impetus for using vibrant colors, line, and texture. She enjoys acrylics, oils, charcoals, and encaustics, the Ancient Greek process that requires the layering of melted, pigmented wax.

Gigi is a full-time, award-winning artist who has displayed her work in numerous shows and galleries from San Francisco throughout the Peninsula to San Jose. She has co-ordinated workshops and has volunteered in San Mateo's Art in Action Program. A particularly valuable experience was her study of conceptual and process painting with Betty Jo Constanzo in Orvieto, Italy.

You're welcome to visit Gigi's studio at the Peninsula Museum of Art located at l0 Twin Pines Lane off of Ralston Avenue in Belmont, California, 94002. Please email at gigizart@gmail.com for an appointment.
